Stop the press, don't click that purchase button and cancel your plans. The Halo 3 tournament at Multiplay's i39 event has been well and truly cancelled. Suppose you want to know why don't you? Well apparently there are a number of reasons, but Rob Hodson from Multiplay has said this on the cancellation:

"There just isn’t the uptake we have seen previously and running a prize winning tournament for the game just isn’t viable."

We're very disappointed it has to be said. Have you already paid for the tournament and entrance? If so you're entitled to a full refund - which you can do by heading to the Multiplay support site. But don't worry guys, ECL is getting closer by the day, only one hundred and forty-three to go!

Though all is not lost as it appears that Multiplay have plans to reveal other tournaments in the future and something special in their exhibition area for i39.
