It all started with 26 years old gamer Josh Moore tried to declare on Xbox LIVE that he lives in Fort Gay WV; however the XBL rules enforcement team refused to allow it. I have an i3 HP G62 Atm which i'm sending back to pc world , For the record the hp laptop has not died or anything lol , its a great laptop but i would prefer a pc as i dont take my laptop anywhere so a pc is the best bet !!

Budget is £400 (I know its not much , got a monitor also)

If anyone can spec me a computer or help me as i know there are a few ppl on here who have built computers i'd be grateful

After losing to Instinct to take 2nd Place in Columbus, Final Boss dominated in Raleigh and took their first tournament victory since the first Halo 3 tournament in 2008. Could this be the second coming of the Final Boss dynasty that we first saw in Halo 2? Final Boss sat down with us to give us their thoughts. [Editor’s note: Ogre2 was unavailable for this interview.]

MLG: Congratulations on winning Raleigh! How much did you practice to prepare for it after falling just short in Columbus?

FearItself: Right after Columbus came summer, so we didn’t practice that much for Raleigh, to be honest. We took a couple of weeks off to enjoy the summer. But we did get two LANs in before the tournament and that last week we made sure to get as much Xbox live practice as possible. We definitely felt prepared to go to the tournament.

MLG: What is the real difference between practicing on Xbox live and practicing in LANs?

VictoryX: Playing online is good for talking about strats and what to do in the game. For example, we can go over what to do off the spawns and how to control power weapons, etc. At LANs we try to execute it. It is hard to take what happens on Xbox live seriously, because it is just not as realistic as a LAN as far as playing at a tournament is concerned.

Practice pays off, as Final Boss take Raleigh


FearItself: Playing online is important for individual play. In the end it’s more beneficial for you, not for the team. A LAN is most beneficial for the team because it’s as close to a tournament as you can get.

MLG: The practice definitely seemed to pay off. You breezed through the Winners Bracket in Raleigh and predictably faced Instinct in the Winners Bracket Finals. Let’s talk about the pivotal Game 3, Guardian Oddball, where it looked like Instinct was going to take it but you held them off in the last few seconds. Was that the turning point in the series?

Pistola: Oh yeah, that game was fun. I threw a random nade and got a double. [Laughs]

VictoryX: We were up by 15 seconds of ball time with 30 seconds left, and we had all just died. I spawned and threw nades top yellow. Ogre2 spawned and also naded. Pistola was able to throw a nade and pick up a double kill. We rushed in and were able to break that setup. The ball ended up under glass and we just kept rushing it and were able to take the game.

Pistola: Yeah, I rushed in and put three shots on Roy, then we double-beatdown Lunchbox bottom mid. That was awesome [laughs].

MLG: It looked for a while like you were going to face Triggers Down in the Finals, but Roy got hot and Instinct took the series 3-2. As you were watching this unfold, be honest: were you rooting for Instinct to complete the comeback, or were you rooting against your rivals?

Pistola: All four of us didn’t care. We were gonna give it our all no matter who we played.

FearItself: Well, on one hand, we had a 3-1 lead on Instinct. Me personally, I wanted Instinct to win because they’re back-to-back defending champions. If we beat Triggers Down everyone would say Instinct had an off tournament and Final Boss got lucky. We were not worried though. We thought we were going to beat them either way.

VictoryX: I wish we could have played both of them in the Finals [laughs].

Pistola: I would like to add that Roy is a robot. But we were 100% confident no matter who we played.

MLG: You guys took the first game of the Finals 50-39, even though Instinct entered into that series with crazy momentum. How did you keep your focus and counter their energy?

VictoryX: A few of us were warming up in the pro lounge so we stayed ready. But to be honest, we were not going to lose, considering our teamshot and teamwork during the tournament. Also, we have the best communication in the game right now.

Pistola: We have Ogre2 on our team. He’s won the most tournaments in Halo history. He knows how to win. He told us to go hard at the beginning of the game and go right after them. Before I knew it, I’d held rockets to start that game for the first three minutes—at that point, I knew we had control of the game.

MLG: Speaking of Ogre2, he went off in the final game, Onslaught CTF, had the most kills, and tied for most assists and least deaths. Definitely a clutch performance, especially considering Instinct seemed like they were on the verge of coming back. Describe those last few games.

Pistola: Ogre2 made it a point to tell me at the end of that game that he was destroying [laughs].

FearItself: We were up 5-1 in the series, they won two games in a row, they got to 5-3 and we buckled down.

Pistola: One of the spectators said “hurry up and win, I have to pee!” I took off my headset and told him we were going to 11 so he had to hold it [laughs]. I think he was happy we were able to finish it off in nine games.

MLG: It was kind of fitting that Ogre2, a fixture of MLG over the years, won the 50th Event in MLG history. Is that something you guys talked about at all leading up to Raleigh?

FearItself: During the Event, we didn’t talk about anything. We didn’t concentrate on any of that. We just wanted to get Victory his first Event win. Every tournament we go to, we want to win, whether it’s the 50th or the hundredth, it doesn’t matter.

Pistola: I wanted Ogre2 to win again. I wanted FearItself to win, because he hadn’t since 2008. I had a good season in 2009, but I was due. Most of all, I am happy VictoryX got his first tournament win.

VictoryX: In his blog after Columbus, he had a section about his favorite moments in MLG. I was a bit surprised to see he had put “bringing the FB dynasty back in Columbus” so high in his list. I think Columbus meant a lot more to him than we had realized and I know this victory meant even more.

Pistola: Maybe we can make his top in the list by taking Nationals this year.

MLG: VictoryX, you just got the monkey off your back and won your first Event. Many thought that you probably could have taken home the MVP, too. How does it feel?

VictoryX: It feels so good. Everything from people congratulating me to being able to walk around after the tournament knowing that we had just won. I certainly think Roy deserved the MVP. My shot was on, but every time I would go one-on-one against him, he always took me out.

Pistola: This goes back to my comment earlier: Roy is a robot [laughs].

MLG: Now that you’ve won, VictoryX, I have to put you on the spot: who’s currently the best player to never have won an Event?

VictoryX: It’s definitely Naded.

MLG: Well. One player who’s not new to winning tournaments is Pistola, and you just had another sick tournament. What’s your secret? Is it the hair?

Pistola: [Laughs] FearItself has better hair than me! To be honest, I don’t think that I’m playing at the top of my game. In the Finals, I wasn’t playing my best, but I was dominating in spurts. I have a feeling I’ll be at the top of my game at Nationals, though.

MLG: That’s a scary thought. Speaking of hair: FearItself, you’re arguably one of the most underrated pros on the circuit and you just had another solid tournament. How do you think you performed at Raleigh?

FearItself: This was my worst individual tournament of the season. My first two were some of my best. Still, this is overall my best season. In Raleigh, I had my good games, I had my bad games. But the key was that even in my bad games I’m still helping my team out a lot, be it with objective or teamshot. I could’ve played better, but my versatility allowed me to contribute even when my shot was off.

Pistola: I’m not beneficial to my team when I’m off [laughs].

VictoryX: FearItself’s very important to this team. Bottom line, whenever we needed him to step it up, he was able to rise to the challenge. He was big for us.

MLG: You guys obviously have a lot of team chemistry. Is that the main reason you were able to win Raleigh?

Pistola: I think we are all really all-around good guys and I trust my teammates. I feel like FearItself sometimes will blow up at me. But as long as his hair doesn’t get messed up, we’ll be okay [laughs].

FearItself: We’re all friends in and out of the game. Ogre2, VictoryX and I have teamed for a while now, so we certainly have a good bit of team chemistry.

Pistola: We weren’t as close in Columbus as we were in Raleigh. I was talking to Heinz a couple days ago and I told him that I like being on this team even more than I liked being on TD last year. Thanks for picking me up! Thanks for that phone call.

VictoryX: [Laughs]You’re welcome! I think we have the most fun of any other team. We all just have a really good sense of humor.

MLG: Did taking down Instinct make this victory sweeter for you?

Pistola: I want to play every team at the Event. I wish that’s how it worked. My favorite thing to do is take on the best team in the circuit.

VictoryX: Whoever’s at the top is who we’re aiming for.

MLG: Well, now you’re at the top. I heard Ogre2 mention he’s focused on taking the next two tournaments this year. No one has ever had a three-peat in Halo 3. Can Final Boss do it?

FearItself: I think once you get a taste of being the best and winning an Event, you don’t want anything else. I remember in 2008, once I won in Orlando, I knew this is what I wanted every tournament. I know for a fact we’re not going to slack. We could’ve played better in Raleigh, but there’s always room for improvement. This is the only thing we expect from here on out.

Pistola: Wow, good answer [laughs].

VictoryX: I think the plan is for us to take a little break right now but then we plan on practicing a lot and being prepared for DC.

MLG: VictoryX, I have to ask you, now that the term’s started for you at Michigan State, which do you prefer: preparing for an Event in the summertime or during the school year?

VictoryX: It’s probably easier to prepare for the tournament during the school year. I have a set schedule so I can plan when to game. The last week before Raleigh I was slacking off because I had friends in town. Now that I’m back at school that won’t happen, since all my friends are here at school, too.

MLG: Let’s talk a little bit about the roster changes that happen in bunches after every tournament. Which current team change rumor has surprised you guys the most?

FearItself: I think that the Naded, Defy, T2 and Ghost team is interesting. I never thought that team would come together. They have a lot of potential to be a good team, like the Carbon team last year that was put together. I was surprised Heinz got dropped on the Sunday night of the Tournament!

VictoryX: Yeah, the Heinz dropping was a huge surprise. They didn’t even do that badly; they still got Top 6. A bit uncalled for and surprising. I think the way we would’ve handled it is that we would have let emotions cool down and talked about things before we reached any decision.

Pistola: Yeah, I couldn’t believe it. He’s one of the best players in the League. Just doesn’t make any sense.

MLG: Well, now that there’s more clarity as to what the team rosters may be in DC, which do you consider your biggest threat?

VictoryX: It’s gotta be Instinct. I expect the trend of us playing them in the Finals to continue going into DC. They’re just the most consistent team. I do think, however, that Triggers Down has the potential to pull off a Believe the Hype from last season and win a tournament this year.

FearItself: Instinct is definitely the most consistent team. But to be honest, the playing field is so level right now that it wouldn’t surprise me if any of the Top 8 teams meet us in the Finals.

Pistola: I agree; any team can get hot.

MLG: Thank you for taking the time to talk to us, guys. Any shoutouts?

VictoryX: Definitely want to give a shoutout to the Pennachio family for all that they’ve done. Also, a big shoutout to my friends and family for all the support.

FearItself: Mr. and Mrs. P. have done so much for the League and community and have hosted all these LANs. I also want to give a shoutout to Coach Matty, who we picked up before last tournament.

Well, here it is. All my best and favourite clips packed into one tage.

The gameplay is mostly lvl 50 MLG except for one Snipers clip and the credits. Some of the clips I got did not get through to Empty, and is unfortunately not in the tage. I guess they will be in a leftovertage or something. The oldest clip would be from the end of the v6 period in MLG. That's when I started playing H3 competitively, which I did until this July.
I don't know if I will keep playing for Reach, I might quit gaming as a whole. If I do play it however, I'll probably go to events and such. We'll see.

Team Druidz started off as a Quake team back in 1994, and has been an active Multigaming Organisation [MGO] since 1996 when it brought in it's first Counter Strike team. Thereafter most of the players moved over to Battlefield 2 upon release, reaching a total member count of 34 players. Upon the release of World of Warcraft Team Druidz suffered a great loss of players resulting in questioned continuance. Even though the organisation kept a low profile it still continued bringing in smaller teams for other games. Dreamhack Summer 2009 was the biggest event for the MGO having 52 of it's 93 players attending the LAN and bringing home a total of nine 1st-3rd places at the end of the tournaments.
