Seems Major League Gaming can't get enough of us European's at the moment as the professional versus amateur challenge features Power Gaming this time around. We obviously know the Power team, but who will they be facing? Well that would be FearItSelf, StrongSide, BestMan and Shibby. The teams of course will be randomised, should be interesting to see the results.
MLG Professionals: Justin 'FearItSelf' Kats Michael 'StrongSide' Cavanaugh Nick 'BestMan' Johnson Richard 'Shibby' Webb
The games are being played as we type, we'll bring you the scores at a later time. Good luck to the Power Gaming team, lets hope they do Europe proud.
In this weeks over the line we're talking about a real gem of a game that was very much over looked by the competitive gaming community, a game that had the timing of release been different probably would have been the biggest game at any console LAN event, a game that would have taken e-sports to the next level and a game that some of you may not even know exists. We're talking Shadowrun.
Another PC Organisation has taken the plunge and picked up a console team to represent them. This time around the H2k Organisation have recruited a Halo 3 team. So, what have we got here? We've have three players from Holland - Nico 'Scorpi0' van Doeland, Niels 'Towel' Mulder and Roelof 'Pinooo' Eringa; then we have one player from Belgium completing the squad, Ruben 'Trojan' Gijs. A pretty sexy line up we think we potential to make a big impact on the European scene.
Niels had this to say on his new team:
Quote:
We are very excited and honored to represent a well-known professional organization like H2k. We look forward to the cooperation in the near future. Our first tournament is a French Halo 3 LAN coming up. Our goal is finishing top three but a first place finish would be a great achievement for us and for H2k. We are very confident in our performance, because our chemistry from sirox is back, with our new addition Trojan.
