The 2009 season is over, the pro players have released their Pro Choice Awards and with the cancellation of i39 the British Halo community will have to wait until ECL for another domestic tournament. Fortunately in this, much delayed, edition of Over The Line Knighty lists his top four Halo 3 players to stimulate some discussion. Resisting the urge to rank them, because they all have slightly different roles and strengths, Knighty has gone through his choices explaining the reasons behind them, providing some stats and VOD to back up his choices. Halo3Forum Europe News: Gamers Assembly 2010

We've got yet another Continental LAN event to bring you lucky fellows news of. 'Gamers Assembly 2010', the self styled 'biggest e-sport event of the year' will be running from the 3rd - 5th of April in Poitiers, France. Both a Halo 3 tournament and MW2 tournament have been confirmed although the Halo 3 prize pot is as yet not confirmed. The entry fee will be 30 Euros a player and all players will need their own Xbox 360 and updated harddrive. Halo3Forum Europe News: i39 Halo 3 Tournament Cancelled!

Stop the press, don't click that purchase button and cancel your plans. The Halo 3 tournament at Multiplay's i39 event has been well and truly cancelled. Suppose you want to know why don't you? Well apparently there are a number of reasons, but Rob Hodson from Multiplay has said this on the cancellation:

"There just isnt the uptake we have seen previously and running a prize winning tournament for the game just isnt viable."

We're very disappointed it has to be said. Have you already paid for the tournament and entrance? If so you're entitled to a full refund - which you can do by heading to the Multiplay support site. But don't worry guys, ECL is getting closer by the day, only one hundred and forty-three to go!
Though all is not lost as it appears that Multiplay have plans to reveal other tournaments in the future and something special in their exhibition area for i39.
